St. Patrick’s Day in Savannah 2017

St. Patrick’s Day in Savannah is one of the mot celebrated events of the year!  People flock to Savannah from around the world to take part in a number of festivities and celebrations, which the official kick-off on Friday, March 17th with the annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade.   Parade step off starts at 10:15 am.   Join the fun at this exciting display of spirited floats, cars, bands, and performers in Downtown Savannah. From pub crawls and live music and many of the local bars to family-friendly activities, there’s plenty to see and do in Savannah this St. Patrick’s Day.

Top ‘O the Mornin’ Run – Friday, March 17, 2017 | 6 a.m.

Start the day off with a little exercise on the St. Patrick’s Day Parade route before the crowds come in.   Registration is not required for this FREE event.

St. Patrick’s Day Festival – March 16-18, 2017 

Enjoy the sights and sounds all weekend long on River Street.   Restaurants, bars, beer and food vendors line the street with all kinds of green goodies. The music starts early in the day and keeps going all night across the multiple stages set up downtown, and by sunset, just about every inch of the street will be filled with people celebrating.

Kilt and Color Run – March 18, 2017 | 8 a.m.

Come clean and leave green at this family-friendly St. Patrick’s run fest featuring a timed, clean 5k, free kid’s 1/2 mile powder run and 5k fun run at the Hutchinson Island Race Track. Registration is $15-$30 for adults and $5-$15 for children.
