A Perfect Romantic Getaway in one of the countries most magical cities!!
The 1869 original Carriage House is a free standing cottage behind the main house with its own private entrance off the lane/alley.

It is located on the 2nd floor over the garage like all original carriage houses in Savannah, so there is a flight of stairs to get to the 2nd floor home.
The carriage house is where the livery driver lived in the 1800s above the horses and carriages he cared for. The Wedding Cake Carriage House comes with a highly coveted garage parking space.

The unusual design is evocative of a “Manhattan loft” set in a historic 1869 carriage house. This surprise blending of original 1920 - 1940 art deco furnishings and many antique elements creates a fun, casual ambiance.
The open and airy open concept living space showcases an entire wall of frosted artist windows, thus flooding the house with natural light.

The bedroom with king bed and TV is adjacent to the alluring bathroom with luxurious features such as 6 foot air tub and separate marble shower. The complete kitchen provides everything you need to whip up a Southern style meal or just grab toast and coffee on the way out your door to take in the cities historical sights that you are just steps out your door!

This reservation includes one private, garage parking space.

Guest may use the walled courtyard although it is shared with guests in the Main House.

There is a washer/dryer in the garage for you to use during your stay.

Maximum occupancy is 2 people, including infants & children.
Minimum age to reserve is 25 years old, no exceptions.
No pets or smoking.

Cancellations:
If you reserve & cancel AFTER we have processed the reservation, we will NOT refund the credit card processing fee. We use a 3rd party credit card processing company & they do NOT refund these fees to us if a guest cancels.
You will also be charged a $50 cancellation fee PLUS the credit card processing fee.

THIS WAS OUR 2ND STAY IN THE CARRIAGE HOUSE. WE RETURNED TO THIS RENTAL BECAUSE WE FOUND IT SO CHARMING THE FIRST TIME. IT DIDN'T LET US DOWN! What a wonderful stay! We were within walking distance to most places :-) we are both 54 so that's a pretty good deal :-) we were able to park our car in the garage and leave it there till we left:-) very clean didn't need a lot of space to live in because we were out in town most of the time :-) the property manager was very kind and sweet and very helpful and answered all our questions. All started well and the carriage house was clean and set for new arrival. Once we were settled in, we noticed that the main TV in the living room would not work. We contacted Luxury Living Savannah and we’re told that someone would be there tomorrow to fix. We told Luxury Living that we changed the batteries in both remotes and it would still not work.
This went from a very small issue to a major blow up and we were told that we did not know how to use the remotes!!! The management of this property was rude, not willing to assist with the issue and not willing to do anything. We ended up leaving a day early with disgust in dealing with Luxury Living Savannah and will never provide a recommendation or stay at their property ever again. Beyond disappointed - stay away from this place.

This was our third time staying here. We thoroughly enjoy Savannah and this place is a great location with nice amenities for two. The only issue we had was the bedroom now getting great air output from the vents which made it a good deal hotter which was not ideal for sleeping. We were able to open the bedroom door and crank the A/C down making it a nice temperature in the bedroom. The only downside to this was that the large windows in the living area let in quite a bit of light at night from the street lights outside which made for a lot of light when the bedroom door was left open.

The bonus for the carriage house is the garage. We took our bikes and had a safe secure place to store them. House is clean, roomy, and quiet. The only negative is really poor Wi-Fi. 75% of time we had no Wi-Fi.

My husband and I enjoyed this beautifully furnished carriage house in the middle of the historic district. It had a fully equipped kitchen and lovely bathroom. It was quiet and restful. We walked to many landmarks and wonderful restaurants. Loved having a garage to park our car. We had a wonderful time and we will be back.

The rental property was beautiful! Comfortable,well appointed, full kitchen appliances. Bed was a king size. We arrived at the location and it is very awkward trying to enter the property and then running up steps to get the garage door opener and then back down the stairs to get into the garage. The space is tight. The garage door is unlocked to the courtyard which is a safety issue. There is a bolt lock on the door to the apartment but no other safety features. The floors were not clean throughout. The rug in the living room was visibly worn. You could see through it. The bathroom floor had sticky residue on it and clearly only spot cleaned as the crevasses were dusty and dark brown. Walls are thin so you can hear everything from surrounding area including clear conversations and children screaming. Light bulbs were missing in the bath. Overall the location is nice during the day but not safe during nighttime.

It was truly amazing. My first time to Savanah and I couldn’t I have asked for more. The location was just a block from Forsythe Park which I ran everyday !! Less than a mile walk to the waterfront and what a beautiful walk it was!!! It was quiet and quintessential Savanah as I had imagined it. Already planning another trip!!

We recently had an excellent experience staying in this carriage house and the overall visit to Savannah. Great location, easy to walk to lots of things, quiet neighborhood, and appreciated having a garage and other amenities. Had a few A/C issues, but Suzanne was very responsive and helpful (even on Sunday morning), and the issue was resolved. Would recommend it for a couple or single guest.

Overall we were very pleased with the carriage house. It was very clean, the water pressure was awesome and the tub is so comfy and the garage parking is a premium. The street was quite and you can't beat the location. The only negatives I can give are that the furniture could use some updating. The couch was uncomfortable, the bed is very soft and the area rug has seen better days. But the good out weighed the bad so we would stay here again.

We really enjoyed out time and our return to this property. The only downside was that the bathroom appeared to not have been properly cleaned. There was dirt and hair in the tub and there was enough hair in the shower drain to prevent water from going down so we had to remove the hair ourselves.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit! The place was perfect! It had everything we needed. We loved that we had a garage space to park, as many other places did not have any assigned parking. The helpful book of information provided was awesome! Definitely one of the best places we've ever stayed and we are frequent VRBO patrons. The only negative thing I can say about it is that the sofa bed sinks lower close to the back of the couch, so you have to sleep with your head at the foot of the bed. We didn't want to pay as much as we did, but chose this property because of other people's reviews. It was worth the extra money, no question! We would definitely stay here again! We strongly recommend this property!!!

This rental is pure luxury. All the furnishings are first class. The gourmet kitchen is gorgeous. Lovely dining table. Comfortable seating in the living area with the huge windows. The bedroom was straight out of a designer magazine. Gorgeous window treatments on the two huge windows. The bathroom was spectacular with the huge jetted tub and beautiful big shower. The farm table with the bowl sink was a beautiful addition. It was great having a garage to park in. Plenty big for a Toyota Highlander. Very nice to have a washer and dryer also. The location is perfect. Close enough for a 15 minute walk to River Street and nice to be out of the madness of that. 5 minute walk to Forsyth Park. And just in the alley behind Jones Street(the prettiest street in America). The staff at Luxury Living rentals was exceptional. Always responded to any questions in a matter of minutes. We appreciate all the attention to detail. Thank you for a wonderful 4 nights.

This was our second stay at Carriage House and its as comfortable as a home away from home. Located very conveniently, but just off the beaten path enough to not be on a super busy road. There’s the most amazing air bathtub that I have ever used as well as a separate shower. There are TVs with cable in the living area and the bedroom and decent wifi, too. There’s also a washer/dryer so you don’t have to go home with a suitcase of dirty clothes! Garage parking is provided, I’d recommend a smaller car or SUV.

We stayed in the Carriage House prior to staying in the main Wedding Cake Mansion for our wedding. The Carriage House was the PERFECT place for my fiance' to stay for a few days. It is in the heart of the historic district, has TONS of natural light, and an absolutely stunning bathroom. We loved staying here and would definitely stay here again for a long weekend.

This carriage house was perfect for our after Christmas getaway. It was clean and had everything we needed. The location was better than I expected and we were able to walk just about every where we went. We took an Uber or the trolley to the all the other places. The garage was an added bonus. We fell in love with Savannah and will definitely be back.

The Carriage house was spectacular. Beautiful light, wonderful fixtures, and an incredibly comfortable, while being luxurious. Would absolutely recommend to anyone! The garage spot was a huge perk for being downtown with a car. Great bathtub!

Carriage house location is perfect for exploring areas in historic districts of Savannah. Strongly recommend trolley tour in the morning to get oriented as well as use of pedi-cabs to and from dining venues. Very reliable.

While house is located in a centrally, it is not convenient for purchasing incidentals and food staples if you should want to dine in house.

A really well done property with great amenities in an ideal location. If you are looking to be close to the center of Savannah but still have some peace and quiet, I would recommend this place. It is nice that you can walk one way and be in the shops and music or you can walk the other way and be in Forsyth park.

Beautiful apartment fully equipped with all you need. We loved staying here but do wish we were able to put apartment temperature lower than 70 degrees for nighttime sleeping (climate controled).

Place was found to be just as described! Very well kept and clean. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and found it to be in a very central and quiet location. Loved having the garage to park in and not having to worry about paying for parking! We walked everywhere! Would definitely recommend!

We found the property in as good or better condition than depicted in the photos. It was very clean, great location for walking to almost anywhere. Having the garage for parking was so nice to not have to worry about moving the car for the street sweepers and safer. We have been coming to Savannah for consistently over the past seven years and have stayed in multiple rentals and I believe this was one of the best/complete package overall for the price.
A couple of observations/suggestions: 1. Potential additional items in the kitchen additional pitcher, blender, cutting board. 2. Also, we loved the natural light in the living area most of the time, but for anyone trying to sleep on the pull-out couch, daylight came pretty early and there was no way to cover the windows. I would like to have had some pull-back black out curtains similar to those in the bedroom.
