Historic District Events
Put an evening at the Historic Savannah Theatre on your list of things to do in Savannah in July. Located in the heart of the Historic District, this gorgeous structure has been around since 1818. After taking in a great show, you’ll be within walking distance of other July events and festivals in Savannah.
Savannah Live is a high-energy variety show playing every Thursday and Saturday evening in July. A live band and eight singers perform everything from Broadway to Pop and Rock. On Wednesdays and Fridays, the Piano Men take over with three world-class pianists performing a riveting tribute to the world’s most famous singer/pianists of all time.
July events and festivals in Savannah prove the city ranks high on the list of foodie locales. Visitors in town on August 9-12 who love seafood shouldn’t miss the Gourmet Seafood & Spirits Festival. The annual festival features chefs from around the country to create delightful gourmet seafood dishes and specialty drinks.

July Fourth Riverfront Celebration
Celebrate the Fourth on River Street at the Rousakis Riverfront Plaza. Enjoy live entertainment, special activities for the kids, drinks, ice cream, and all the usual unique shopping and dining on River Street. At dusk find a spot along the riverfront for an impressive fireworks display beginning at 9:30 p.m.
View the fireworks show from a different perspective on the 4th of July Fireworks Cruise. The three-hour celebration includes an Independence day inspired buffet, drink specials, live entertainment and a spectacular view of the waterfront fireworks.
Tybee Island Beach Happenings
