Description

The chic historic townhouse sits on charming Chatham Square, one block from Forsyth Park. The area contains some of the city’s best row houses. This prestigious area is a short walk to the numerous museums, historic sites, restaurants, and shops.

Recently renovated with a designers eye toward style, the parlor level suite of this 1854 townhouse overlooks Chatham Square. Living room features & smart TV, Wi-Fi and comfy seating. The dining room seats four and the kitchen features stainless steel appliances, granite counter tops & is outfitted with anything you need to whip up a meal or heat up take-out.

The sunny master bedroom has a queen bed, smart TV. The en suite bathroom is newly renovated too with a tiled, walk-in shower. The suite has a private back porch and the below courtyard (shared with other guests in building).

HISTORIC GORDON ROW: Gordon Row was built in two phases between 1852 and 1854. In the first phase, the 3 or 4 houses on each end of the block were built and in the second phase the middle portion was built. There are a total of 15 houses in the row. The houses were built in the Federalist (US) or Regency Style (UK). Each house is four stories high and contains about 3,300 square feet. The Federalist Style emphasizes square, classical features, plain decorations and mirror image rooms.

Once reserved, you will receive multiple emails from our booking software called ESCAPIA. Please check your spam/junk folders for emails from Luxury Living Savannah and/or Escapia.

Minimum age to reserve is 25 years of age, no exceptions. NO pets or smoking.

NO PARTIES! NO BACHELORETTE/BACHELOR GROUPS!

MAXIMUM occupancy is 2 people at all/any time, including infants/children.

PARKING INFO:
1. This property has metered street parking Monday through Friday, free on Saturday/Sunday. City of Savannah uses Meter Pay Stations on each block. You can download the phone APP "PARK SAVANNAH" to pay meters from your phone
OR
Visitor Parking Day Passes are available for 24hours/$15.00 and 48hours/$24.00. Passes can be purchased at the City of Savannah Parking Services Office (100 East Bryan Street)
2. Luxury Living Savannah has 4 reserved parking spaces that we offer for rent located about 4 blocks away. We charge $20 per night, per parking space and this can be added to your booking charges.

Cancellations:
If you reserve & cancel AFTER we have processed the reservation, we will NOT refund the credit card processing fee. We use a 3rd party credit card processing company & they do NOT refund these fees to us if a guest cancels.
You will also be charged a $50 cancellation fee PLUS the credit card processing fee.
This is regardless of VRBO’s policy.

We were in Savannah for a wedding in a Tybee Island. We are happy we stayed in Savannah. So beautiful. The Suite was pretty, clean and well kept.
The only thing that was not kept well was the outdoor area. There were a lot debris on porch, steps, sidewalk and courtyard. It was there for 2 days before it was blown off. It was the only property on the street that was that way. With the front steps with debris, we were afraid of slipping and falling.
Some light bulbs were burned out. The container for laundry detergent was empty.

We absolutely loved staying at this property as we were in Savannah to celebrate our anniversary. It was clean, quiet, well-kept and perfect for our stay. Chatham Square is just a few steps from the front door and provides a truly unique experience in Savannah's historic district. We went to a concert while we were in town and the free trolley service picks up event goers just 3 blocks from the property. This meant we didn't have to deal with parking or concert traffic and made our experience even better. Forsyth park is also just a few blocks away and the rest of the historic district is within walking distance. We will be staying here again the next time we are in Savannah. Highly recommended!

Hubby and I were in Savannah the week after Thanksgiving. Prior to the trip all of my questions were promptly answered by management. The home was well furnished and immaculate. Awesome restaurants and attractions within walking distance. Beautiful area! Great for those who love photography! Already planning a trip back with my girlfriends.

Our first trip to Savannah was absolutely great. One of the main reasons was the beautiful apartment and it's great location. The apartment is just a couple of blocks away from Forsyth Park and a short stroll to the heart of the city. It is located on the most peaceful square of the city (Chatham Square). We enjoyed hanging out in the square as well as the beautiful courtyard in the back. Would definitely stay here again on our next visit to Savannah.

We had a wonderful two night stay in Savannah, and highly recommend this property. It was spotless on our arrival, with easy entry and exit. Great location made it fun to explore this beautiful city. We loved walking through the parks, and exploring the many shops and restaurants!
