Great location and easy to walk everywhere. Beds were your basic spring mattress and could have been upgraded. Living area chairs are uncomfortable. The kitchen is nice and bathrooms are fine. It was great to have a garage to park in, but warning it's small. A/C works great and linens are good. It was quiet and beautiful location. Nice little place. Would stay again, after all your out exploring not hanging out at the house.

The carriage house was located perfectly for us, who were in Savannah for the first time and walked everywhere we wanted to go. The residence was very comfortable for 2 couples.

The carriage house is exactly as shown in the listing. It is comfortable and spotless. The garage is a definite plus. The neighborhood is very quiet.

We needed to contact the property manager regarding use of door keys and garage opener; she responded quickly, and the helpful handyman came over to resolve the situation.

Since it was my first time visiting, we did a river cruise and also took a Savannah Cruisers ride through the historic district.

It was very cold while we were there, and we are already planning a return.

It is an ideal setting ina beautiful community.

Our visit to Savannah was amazing. I have visited savannah several times over the years but this was the first time that we stayed in a Carriage House rather than a hotel. It was lovely. Nicely decorated and very clean.

2 couples stayed for 3 days. Easy access to the city. Garage parking was helpful. Small apartment but was laid out in a way to be comfortable. Each bedroom had a bathroom which was convenient. Decor tried to imitate historic house but was an apartment over a garage.

To make this an exceptional experience, the addition of flat screen TV’s in the bedrooms and an upgrade to keyless entry would be a plus.
However, this would not deter me from booking again.

We had such a wonderful time. The carriage house was close to everything... it was absolutely beautiful! We would defy stay again... think you guys so much for the opportunity to stay in your VRBO!

Wonderful location!! Within walking distance to just about everything. Forsyth Park was about 15-20 mins, but everything else was much closer!

The house was very clean and accommodating. We had no issues with noise or lack of sleep. The only recommendations our group has is to have two towels per guest, add a full-length mirror, and change the shower curtain holder in the white, tiled bathroom to be more mobile. The hooks kept getting caught making fully closing the curtain challenging. None of these are reasons we wouldn’t stay again as we would definitely book for future travel to Savannah.

The Washington Carriage House was in a great location, quiet part of town and a few blocks away from the river. The house was big enough for two couples with individual bathrooms. The only two concerns were the curtains in both bedrooms did not cover the windows completely and when the sun came up very early in the morning there was no way you could sleep in due to the light. Wonderful location that was close to the river front and restaurants without the noise and congestion of the touristy area. Well maintained facility with elegant décor. Nice having a secure garage to leave our vehicle while walking exploring the city.

First, good directions to teach the carriage house. I thought we would have access from the unit to the outdoor terrace but I did not realize we were o dr the garage- my mistake. The apartment was super clean!!! The kitchen well equipped and the linens and towels felt sanitized. I brought my own, but I would have used them. The garage was a super added plus and even that floor was very clean. Directions to enter where clear and all worked well. The bed was comfy and the room was very quiet. Never saw or heard anyone else in the main house. Alley was wet from rain but I really appreciated the good lighting outside the front door. We were very satisfied with the whole experience/

Beautiful cottage nestled in the colonial district close to everything in downtown Savannah. Park your car and forget about it.
Wonderful condition with comfortable beds. Easy access to all the sites and restaurants.

Only issues were with a couple of lights flickering near the couch and in one bathroom.

We just spent this past weekend at this property. It is absolutely fabulous. It's a perfect size for 2-4 adults. It's within walking distance to most everything in the historic district, and for the price it's much nicer than any hotel. We even had the pleasure to talk to the owner for a few minutes. We had a wonderful Savannah experience, and we will definitely stay again.

The home was located conveniently to everything in town. Once we parked the car we never even started it up until it was time to leave! The whole city is within walking distance, close to the river and many great restaurants. The beds were very comfortable after long days sightseeing!

Four of us stayed for 4 nights. The home was plenty big enough for us. Impeccable clean. I picked it for the closeness to the Savannah River and all the restaurants and shops on the Riverwalk and Historic area. If you go to Savannah be sure to stop at Churchill's bar and restaurant. Very attentive staff.

Stayed 4 nights in this great little carriage house. The air freshener was pretty strong when we first arrived but after we opened the windows for a while it was fine. Great location right across the street from the Pirate House and short walk from River St. Clean linens / towels, just like a hotel. Dishes and silverware ready, even though we always ate out. Would definitely recommend the place.

The location of this rental could not be any better, if you are physically able to walk you will love it. Got the car out to go to Tybee Island. The rental is great for a girls trip, the garage was a plus, not hsving to worry about a parking place. Will defintely keep this place in mind the next time I visit Savannah.

Great location for what we like to do in Savannah. Private parking was a plus! Everything was just as described in the listing. When you are in town visiting, you have to eat at The Crab Shack out on the way to Tybee Island!!! I would definitely recommend this property to anyone else, especially 2 couples looking to have a weekend getaway.
