Most bedrooms had ensuite bath, and the few that didn't were just across/down a hall. Full kitchen (actually multiple kitchens), long longn dining room table to fit a crowd, ample seating for conversations. Just a lovely place.

My husband and I along with all of our children and grandchildren stayed at the Wedding Cake Mansion. We loved everything about the mansion; the incredible chandeliers, the fireplaces, the artwork, the furniture - everything was exquisite. The management was wonderful and handled questions quickly, the property was clean and maintained. The whole Savannah area was welcoming and warm. We can't wait to return! Thank you so much

Everything was great. Very beautiful home. We ran into two problems. 1. The sink in the master bathroom got backed up and started to leak on the floor. We got everything cleaned up but someone should look into it. 2. The towels in the place were of poor quality and there were not enough. We had several of the people staying with us complain. <br/><br/>Overall these were not huge issues and everything was great but we wanted to let you know.

The house is beautiful and even going up 2 flights of stairs was not bad. On the first night the people that stayed on the third floor noticed a water leak that seemed to be coming through the ceiling fan. A trash can was placed to catch the water and a call was placed to the management. A second call was placed the next day when no one showed. This time, we advised that the water was now going into the second floor. The problem was fixed the next day. (Pump malfunction). Personal Items were left in kitchen and a call was placed to have them located. They were and was told they would be mailed. That was 2 weeks ago. Value over $200 but still waiting. <br/>The location is great and the facility is indicative of the old South.

We rented the house for a 60th birthday girls weekend and everyone was beyond impressed! The house lacks foe nothing - kitchen on every floor, elevator. Beautiful private courtyard & garage apartment to name a few. Highly recommend!

Too many extra touches to describe. Every bedroom is massively large and the bedding is luxurious. No need for a car as everything is within walking distance. Our host was very helpful with suggestions and always accessible. This was a dream stay. Highly recommend.

Each one of my guests had their own room and bathroom. I put my son and his friends in the carriage house and our older group in the main house and garden suites. The house is elegant with so many beautiful and unique spaces, with timely personal items; just too many to name. I would recommend it to anyone and we may go back next year for a reunion. Oh and the location is perfect for walking in a walking town!

The prized 'Wedding Cake Mansion' is the jewel of Monterey Square. The historical square was made famous from being featured in the movie 'Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil'. Monterey Square is unquestionably the most beautiful square in Savannah. The square is graced by mansions on all corners, draped in Spanish moss and anchored with historic monuments.
This 1869 2nd Empire Baroque Home takes your breath the minute you see it. The elaborate white bay window is so ornately decorated with stained glass windows and ornamental iron work that the long time residents of Savannah have always said it resembles an elegantly decorated 'wedding cake'. This architecture is very unique to Savannah with only a few examples in the Historic District. The French influence is carried throughout the house with French antiques, art and decor. The bedrooms are a resplendent escape and the en suite bathrooms offer every luxurious accouterments expected from the savvy, refined traveler.

This property is NOT PARTY friendly. We do not allow loud noise, music or parties of any sort. Violators may be evicted and/or fined.

This property has a private 2 car garage for our guests.
Parking for additional vehicles: Downtown Savannah has metered, on-street parking Monday through Friday. SOME parts of the Historic District are free on Saturday/Sunday. The City of Savannah uses Meter Pay Stations on each block.
