The Ocean View Penthouse welcomes you to Tybee Island's South Beach & Pier!
FRESHLY UPDATED with ALL new furniture & fixtures!

Our spacious & bright 3500 square feet condo encompasses the entire top floor of this Tybee Island South Beach condo and is steps to the beach!
Walk out the door to Tybee's Famous Pier & Pavilion, restaurants, art galleries, shopping and the Tybee Island Marine Science Center.

We open the middle, adjoining door between units 301 and 302 to combine the entire 3rd floor Penthouse. 17th Place Condo has an elevator and staircase for access to our 3rd floor.

The Penthouse features 6 bedrooms, 2 with king size beds, 2 with queen beds and the other 2 room have 2 twin beds each. We can accommodate a total of 12 people. Your Oceanview Penthouse has two master bedroom suites. Each master bedroom has a private balcony, en-suite bathroom & smart TV. Balconies have seating for relaxing away from the group.
Total of 4 bathrooms: 2 with walk-in showers, 2 with large tub/shower combinations.
Both units have stackable washer/dryers for your use.

Two living/dining areas with smart TVs for everyone to watch their favorite shows. Two fully equipped kitchens provide space for your family chefs to prepare memorable meals.

TVs:
We have all NEW TVs that can stream all the new apps. We do NOT have cable, so please bring your login info for your favorite apps.

PARKING:
parking is on the ground level under the building. There are 4 total spaces included and a maximum of 4 cars allowed. Please contact the City of Tybee Island for parking passes/meter costs, etc. We do NOT allow trailers or RVs.

NOISE:
This property is NOT PARTY friendly. We do not allow loud noise, music, public drunkenness, or parties of any sort. This is a family oriented building with year-round tenants. Violators may be evicted and/or fined. The City of Tybee Noise Ordinance requires strict observance of QUIET TIME between 10 pm and 7 am. Tybee Island Police and the neighborhood strictly enforces this. The individual violators (not the property owner) can be fined by the City.
NO EVENTS/PARTIES. NO BACHELORETTE/BACHELOR GROUPS ALLOWED!

Maximum occupancy is 12 people at all times, including infants & children.
Minimum age to reserve is 25 years old.
No pets or smoking allowed.

Cancellations:
LARGER properties, such as this, are more difficult to book, therefore we have a strict NO REFUNDS cancellation policy:
NO refunds for any reason including, but not limited to illness, death in the family, event cancellation, weather, hurricane, or airline issues. Therefore, we STRONGLY recommend purchasing "CANCEL FOR ANY REASON" TRAVEL INSURANCE.

I’m going to try and be as fair and straightforward as possible. We went to Tybee for a Christmas get together with our adult children(4) and grandchildren (4). There was enough space for everyone and the beds were comfortable except for the master bed in 301 which had a plastic mattress cover and made a horrible noise with every move you made. Everything was pretty clean except the floors. Our babies feet were filthy the entire time and the sand and grit was yucky. Also, I think it’s a little deceptive to call this condo “luxury” and there are no ocean views. We enjoyed being together as a family but will not be back to this condo.

Great experience in a great vacation home. Clean, great location and we couldn’t ask for a better place to spend our very large family adventure. Only thing we would like have had was a grill especially since so many of the restaurants closed early or couldn’t accommodate a party as large as ours.

The house was good and spacious. But customer service was pathetic and they cheated me. From the beginning they were rude. They had one glass dinning table and it started cracking inside for some reason. We have not done any damage. It may be because of heat or aging. They forced me to pay full price for the old dinning table and labor cost. Hopeless and beware of charges

We rented both #301 and #302 over the Fourth of July week and we enjoyed our stay.

The good things about this property:
*Location- We were literally steps from the beach. Restaurants, shops and the pier were in walking distance.
*Size - We were a large family of 15 and this provided more than enough space for all of us.
*Well appointed kitchen - there were plenty of dishes for all of us and enough pots and pans to allow us to cook several meals.
*The elevators were a blessing when it came to bringing up groceries and gear.
*Master bath had enormous showers.
*For the fourth of July fireworks, we were able to see everything from the condo without having to trek out to the beach.

The things we found challenging:
*The doors were a pain! None of them closed properly, especially the pocket doors. This was a huge inconvenience because we were a large party and some people were night owls while others were early-to-bed-early-to-rise types. With the doors not closing, noise was a huge factor for sleeping.
*The blinds were semi-transparent... why have them? In the morning the light would come streaming in and hits you straight in the eyes (unless you bring an eye mask, which alas I did not bring.)
*Air conditioning was uneven. It would be cold as the Arctic in the living room but hot in the master bedroom.
*Bed was too soft for me; you would sink into the body impressions of previous guests. There was also a bump in the middle. This might be just me though... my husband thought the bed was comfortable and had no complaints.

Overall, despite the challenges we still had a good time. Again, the location of this place was ideal for us and that balanced out some of the challenges.

With the doors not closing, noise was a huge factor for sleeping.<br/>*The blinds were semi-transparent... why have them? In the morning the light would come streaming in and hits you straight in the eyes (unless you bring an eye mask, which alas I did not bring.)<br/>*Air conditioning was uneven. It would be cold as the Arctic in the living room but hot in the master bedroom.<br/>*Bed was too soft for me; you would sink into the body impressions of previous guests. There was also a bump in the middle. This might be just me though... my husband thought the bed was comfortable and had no complaints.<br/><br/>Overall, despite the challenges we still had a good time. Again, the location of this place was ideal for us and that balanced out some of the challenges.

Rented the two Penthouse units in this complex for a group of 16 family members. The condos connect thru the living rooms so we had access to two kitchens! Great for refrigerator space and making decaf and regular coffee in the morning! Perfect location close to the beach, restaurants and shopping! There was only one important glitch though. We rented the units because of the availability of an elevator for our elderly parents. Unfortunately the last two days (including checkout day!) the elevator was out of service. Repairman did come the first day it broke but were unable to get it fixed for us. So, great rental if you dont rely on the elevator!

This home is exactly as described! Its beautiful and in the perfect location! It was spacious and decorated beautifully. The only downside is the drain in one of the master bedrooms didnt work. It was no big deal, we just pulled out the stopper and the mattress in that same bedroom has a hump in the middle. Other than that it was great!
